Our Story

Where did we come from?

On 28th January 2019, Leon Smith suffered an out of hospital cardiac arrest at Annesley Primary School where he worked.  Despite the best efforts from the School Staff, Community First Responders, Paramedics and Air Ambulance, Leon did not survive.  As a family, we started to fundraise for a defibrillator for the school and since then we haven’t stopped.

Defibrillator Cabinets

Our goal is to make all of our defibrillators accessible to the community 24 hours a day 7 days a week by placing them in outdoor lockable cabinets.

We currently have 3 cabinets: Cricketers Arms, Hosiery Mills and Bagthorpe Primary School.
